The schooner was taking on a load of wood at Centerville pier, and, noticing the storm coming up, started for Sheboygan. When she got about two miles off Sheboygan, the wind changed, and she had to turn around and make for this port. The deceased was standing near the fore- mast just before she turned, and the ligntning struck the foremost, running down the mast and striking him on the neck, killing him instantly. The schooner ar- rived here yesterday morning. A coroner's inquest was held over the body yesterday, and a verdict rendered in accordance with these facts. His body was taken to Sheboygan, by team. ===============================================================================
