It is five years since the deceased left the lakes, the last vessel he sailed being (we believe) the brig Mahoning. CAPTAIN STEWART spent a great portion of his life on the water, commencing to sail in 1834. He was well known and popular, and leaves a large circle of friends. CAPTAIN JOHN STEWART, Harbor Master in Chicago, is a brother of the deceased. ===============================================================================
