LIZZIE, widow of the late WM. A. NELSON, aged 32 years, of pleuro-pneumonia, and adds: Again we are called upon to chronicle the sad and much regretted death of one of our most re- spected citizens, MRS. NELSON, who leaves three bright and lovely children, the oldest of whom is less than 10 years, orphans. MRS. NELSON'S sickness was of short duration, and at one time it was believed by her friends that she would re- cover, but the loss of her husband, together with her reduced strength from caring for him during his illness, and also the very serious nature of the complaint she was afflicted with proved too much for her at this time and at about one o'clock last Monday, she breathed her last. It is stated that when she was first taken sick she affirmed that it was her last illness, and though friends had tried hard to dissuade her of this opinion, she held firmly to it, and seemed to resign her- self to the event, with but one regret and desire, and that for her children. Her funeral took place yesterday from Grace church, and was attended by nearly the whole populace. ==========================================================================
