         A dispatch from Ahnapee states that MICHAEL MULLANE
       died in that town at the residence of his step father,
       HENRY HALLAM, Esq., on Monday evening, of typhoid fever.
       The announcement will cause deep sorrow wherever deceased
       was known. The funeral was appointed to take place to-day,
       Thursday, under the auspices of Key Lodge F.A.M., and the
       Ahnapee Temple of Honor, in both of which he sustained a
       faithful membership. The malady of which he died was con-
       tracted at Port Washington, where he had been in govern-
       ment employ during the season, at work on the harbor.
       Deceased was about twenty-five years of age.
