Manitowoc County Chronicle
Tuesday, 23 May 1876

         Died:
         
         At Ahnapee, Wis., on Thursday, May 18th, 1876,
       of inflamation of the lungs, MATHIAS KUMBALEK,
       aged 68 years and 2 months.
         MR. KUMBALEK was well known in this village,
       having lived here for years, and establishing
       the business now carried on by ANTON KUMBALEK,
       his son, previous to his removal to Ahnapee.
       He was highly esteemed by both the people of
       this place and Ahnapee, and his death will be
       deeply regretted.
