There are strong suspicions of foul play, and the authorities are vigorously endeavoring to ferret out the matter. GOETTINGER was a drinking man, and having quarrelled with and separated from his family, was living alone in the house. -------------------------------------------------- Extract from Green Bay Advocate - Thursday, 1 August, 1878 Deceased was born in Austria in 1812, and first settled in this country in 1855. When the war broke out he enlisted in the 21st regiment and served his full term. His regiment could boast of no braver sol- dier than he. Though not receiving any wounds he has suffered from a rupture which was brought on in the war. ===========================================================================
