         Miss MARY BACON, daughter of EDWARD BACON, of
       Ahnapee, and a highly respected young lady, died
       of consumption last Sunday morning after being a
       sufferer of that fatal disease for two years.
       Her funeral took place on Tuesday and was one of
       the largest ever witnessed in Ahnapee.
