         EMMA THERESA, aged 3 years and 9 months,
       daughter of FRED. SCHMIDT, of Pierce, died
       last week of diptheria.
       
         Also on the 20th Oct., of the same malady,
       in Ahnapee, ROSALIA, aged 3 years, daughter
       of WENZEL ANSORGE.
