Though he has been in poor health for some years, having been compelled to retire from busi- ness ten years ago because of it, death was not ex- pected at this time. About 8:30 Wednesday morning MR. LEAMON wanted a drink and his wife gave it to him, but he was unable to swallow it. Raising him so that he might rest more easily, he went out al- most instantly. MR. LEAMON was born in England in 1836 and in 1873 came to Ontario America, with his family. In 1879 the family moved to St. Clair, Mich., and in 1886 to Superior, where for about fifteen years he was in the bakery business. MR. LEAMON is survived by his wife, one daughter, MRS. JOHN WHITE of Forest Lake, Minn., and four sons, the sons all living in Superior. GEORGE W. runs the City bakery on Tower avenue, E. J. has a general store at Allouez and S. G. and FRANK W. are in the hardware business in East End.
