He was a half-breed, brother of CHARLIE and ANTOINE CADOTTE, and had sailed on the Lakes for the last 16 or 18 years, being considered an experienced sailor, either on a large or small craft; was also wrecked in that same locality once, being on the schooner Charlie when she went ashore near Grand Marais. ===============================================================================
