                  Suing for Big Damages
               
            MADISON, Wis., Nov. 14 - MISS EMMA
          MESSRSMITH, of the town of Fitchburg,
          has brought suit against HENRY SMITH,
          of the same place, alleging that her
          character is damaged to the amount of
          $12,000 by language used by defendant.
          The case is on trial in the circuit
          court here and is attracting much at-
          tention as all parties are well known.
