Mr. DUERNBERGER, SR., had an attack of the grippe, which terminated fatally after he was confined to his bed several weeks. Deceased was a native of Bavaria, and came to this country in 1840; spent 14 years in the city of New York and then removed to this county, locating on a farm near Cedar Creek, where he remained 13 years. In 1867 he moved to the town of Brillion, Calumet Co., where he remained until his death. He leaves five children - 3 sons and 2 daughters - to mourn his loss, namely: - JOHN, of this city, CHRIST, of Wausau, HENRY, of Brillion, Mrs. MARY FISCHER of this city, and Mrs. CATHERINE GRUENER, of town Polk.
