LAURA BEACH, aged 25 years, wife of GEORGE M. BEACH, Esq., County Super- visor. In our last issue we mentioned that MR. BEACH was called away from his official duties, on account of the serious illness of his wife. He arrived home one hour before she breathed her last. The deceased was known and highly re- spected and beloved by a very large circle of friends, for her many virtues and noble traits of character. She was well educated and her death falls with a crushing weight upon the bereaved husband, to whom she was one of the most affectionate wives and companions. Her disease was of a pulmonary character and although last winter in the bloom and freshness of youth, health and beauty, she now rests beneath the sod. Although her sufferings were severe she bore them with the fortitude and meekness of a true fol- lower of Him who died on Calvary, that we might live a glorious hereafter. Mr. B. in his affliction, has the heart-felt sympathy of his numerous friends and they sincerely hope that Time, the Great Healer, will alle- viate his sufferings. ===========================================================================
