The Manitowoc Pilot
Thursday, 30 August, 1877

         From the Chilton Times, we learn that MARIE D., 
       wife of CARL ALBRECHT, committed suicide on Sun-
       day of last week, by hanging herself to a tree.
       CARL is a farmer living in Rantoul township, 
       Calumet county, about two and one-half miles from
       Potter's Mills, and has been married to the de-
       ceased, who was fifty-five years old, about five
       years. Frequent family troubles aare believed to
       have caused her to take her life in this manner.
