He was a son of WILLIAM SCHERAF (sic). RAY SOWEN (sic), of Stockbridge, died of the same disease. CLARA BECKER, daughter of GEORGE BECKER, died of the same malady. There are thirty others in that section who are afflicted with diphtheria. Transcriber's Note: "Sheraf" - his grave stone says SHARF.
