         J. H. FREEZE, station agent and operator, New Holstein.
       The station was established in 1872, and Mr. FREEZE took 
       charge of it in 1873. J. H. Boyle and W. G. Hornefer were 
       his predecessors. Since his first year the business has 
       steadily increased, as the agricultural resources of this 
       section have developed. He commenced telegraphy in 1870.
