WHITWAM, a well-known farmer of that town. MR. WHITWAM was hauling milk to the creamery at Nelson, and on his return trip his team ran away throwing him out. He was picked up unconscious and died soon after. Deaceased (sic) was for several years a resident of the town of Durand, but about five years ago sold his farm and bought another in the town of Maxville. He was about forty-five years of age, and leaves a wife and four young children. The blow is a sad one for his wife and children, who have the sympathy of many in their great sor- row. The funeral took place on Wednesday after- noon, Rev. A. W. Luce, of this city officiating. -- Durand Courier ===========================================================================
