Saturday, 25 September, 1880

         Alma Journal: We learn that on Wednesday, of last
       week, JACOB ULRICH, of the town of Waumandee, while
       at work in the field cutting corn, fell dead on the
       spot. His hired man who was with him, says he never
       uttered a word, but suddenly fell and expired. Dr.
       Emelin, of Fountain City, held a post mortem exami-
       nation on the body, on Thursday last, and pronounced
       the disease apoplexy of the heart.
