MR. ULRICH was driving a car containing FRED CAPPERS and ALBERT GUILSO beside himself. They were on their way from Alma to Mondovi, returning to their homes in the latter city. About four miles out of Alma, at about 8 p.m., when on a new piece of road, they met a team. As they turned out the road gave way beneath the car, which turned over. CAPPERS was under the car, GUILSO jumped and ULRICH was thrown with terrific force against a tree, is back, neck and arms being broken. The victim of the accident had been manager of the Wisconsin Telephone company's office at Mon- dovi and he was respected as a young man of exem- plary life. He was 37 years old and leaves a widow and his aged parents. The latter reside in Alma and he had been visiting them on the trip which terminated fatally. MR. CAPPERS received slight bruises and MR. GUILSO escaped unhurt. ===========================================================================
