         SAMUEL SCHILLING, merchant, junior member of the firm of
       TESTER & SCHILLING, was born in this county in 1832, Oct.
       9, of German parents. He engaged in business with MR. TESTER 
       in 1873. Married ANNIE SAXER in 1874. She was born in Switzer-
       land, March 1, 1853. They have one child, EDWIN.
