One JOHN W. MICHOT was suspected of the theft, arrested next day and taken before D. HUNT, Esq., Ft. Howard, where he confessed the crime and stated that he had traded off the furs at the house of bad repute kept by TOM DOYLE. An officer found the furs there and restored them. MICHOT was bound over to appear at the Circuit Court, but at this juncture Sheriff BONG had an order to return him to the Reform School, from which he was out on a ticket of leave. It was thought best to return him and save costs to the county. On opening his valise a lot of old letters were found addressed to ALBERT GRAY and others of the GRAY family, that he had pur- loined in some manner, but they were of no great consequence. The scamp is originally from Depere. ==========================================================================
