BETSEY CARPENTER, the wife of a well-to-do farmer of Chelsea, thoroughly horse-whipped a woman by the name of MRS. MARION BURNHAM, who resides in Tunbridge. The cause was the improper intimacy said to exist between MRS. BURNHAM and ALBERT BANISTER, MRS. CARPENTER'S son-in-law. The resulting fine of $28.05 was promptly paid. ================================================================================
