         JOHN C. HOOD of West Topsham lost all his
       buildings recently, including a private 
       creamery. The property burned included 
       fully 1000 tons of hay, eight hogs and a
       large and first-class assortment of farm-
       ing tools. The total loss is thought to be
       fully $5000. There was an insurance of
       $4000.
