JULIA FOOTE NEWELL, widow of the late EDMUND NEWELL, were brought here last week from East Brook- field, Mass., and interred in the village cemetery beside her husband and children. MRS. NEWELL, who died at the home of her daughter, MRS. EMMA SMITH, was 86 years of age and had been (until the last few months) a life long resident of this town. The funeral was held on Thursday last at the home of MRS. FANNING, an old friend and neighbor. MRS. EMMA NEWELL SMITH and son of East Brookfield, Mass., are stopping a few days with friends, having accompanied the remains of her mother here for burial. ================================================================================
