WILLIAM GALVIN, who has been sick for the past year from the effects of a paralytic shock, died at her home Friday, Oct. 4, aged 62 years, seven months and 14 days. The deceased was born in New York city and was married to WILLIAM GAL- VIN Jan. 2, 1862. She was of a quiet dis- position and to know her was to love her. She leaves a husband, two sons, WILLIAM of Rochester, Vt., and JOHN M. of Worcester, Mass., and one daughter, MRS. ROSA NEWTON of Bennington, Vt., besides a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from her late residence Sunday at 10 o'clock.
