         At Ferrisburg
         
         The funeral of MRS. MARY JANE BARD was
       largely attended at her late residence on
       Friday afternoon last. Her pastor, Rev.
       Geo. H. Bailey, officiating.
       
       
         At Middlebury
         
         The remains of MISS ALICE H. HARRINGTON,
       only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. EDWARD HAR-
       RINGTON, were brought here from Salisbury
       Thursday afternoon and taken on the after-
       noon train to Ferrisburg for interment. 
       MISS HARRINGTON was 14 years of age and
       leaves a father and mother and one brother
       to survive her.
       
         The funeral of MRS. MICHAEL CAIN was
       held from St. Mary's Roman Catholic church
       at 9:30 o'clock on Thursday morning. The
       Rev. Father Shannon officiated and the
       interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
       MRS. CAIN was 87 years of age and is sur-
       vived by one son, JOHN, and one daughter,
       MARY, both of this village. The bearers
       were S. LAPINE, J. TIGUE, J. BOUDREAU,
       T. WILSON, M. HALPIN, and S. McMANN.
       
       
         At Cream Hill
         
         The funeral of LOREN TOWNER, who died
       Sunday a.m., Oct. 27th, was held at the
       house on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Rev. Mr. Carl-
       son of Shoreham officiated.

         LOREN TOWNER died Sunday morning after
       about two weeks' sickness. He reached the
       ripe old age of 86 years and leaves four
       children to mourn his loss.	
       
       
         At Leicester
         
         ALBERT CAPRON died Sunday about 10
       o'clock, a.m., after a long and serious
       illness. The funeral was held from his
       late home Tuesday at 12 o'clock. Inter-
       ment at West Salisbury.
