         at Middlebury
         
         The remains of THOMAS SANTO of Weybridge
       were interred in the Catholic cemetery in
       this village on Thursday of last week.
       
       
         at North Ferrisburg
         
         Wednesday morning the community was shocked
       to hear of the sudden death of EBENEZER WARD
       the evening previous. MR. WARD was one of the
       oldest residents, also one of the oldest mem-
       bers of the Methodist church. He leaves be-
       sides a wife, two daughters, MRS. ELIZA NORTON
       of Georgia and MRS. EMILY KIMBALL of West
       Ferrisburg. The funeral was held at the house
       Thursday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Appleman was
       called to officiate in the absence of the
       pastor, Mr. Lemmon.
