Evidence was brought in that showed unreasonable violence. So strong in fact was the testimony along that line that Sorrell was remanded back to jail to be examined as regarded his sanity. The testimony of doctors and witnesses was al- most unanimous that Sorrell was insane. The court accordingly ordered him committed to the asylum for the insane at Waterbury, to which place he was taken by Deputy Sheriff H. P. Fisher Wednesday morning. ================================================================================
