The boys were small chaps, but plenty old enough to know better, and when haled into court by the stern hands of sheriffs Fisher and Bates had no excuse to offer for their conduct. Their names are George and Charles Bailey and reports regarding them indicate an almost total lack of home training. Fines of $10 and $20 and costs were imposed on each offender for the two cases and they were committed to the Industrial school until the same were paid. ================================================================================
