         At Bristol
         
         GEORGE W. VARNEY of Charlotte and MRS.
       ELIZABETH SMITH of Lincoln were married
       Wednesday at the Methodist parsonage by
       Rev. H. L. Kelton. They are to reside 
       at Lincoln.
       
       
         At Addison
         
         FRED RIVERS and MISS BESSIE ELLIOTT
       of Weybridge were married by the Baptist
       minister at Addison on Wednesday evening,
       Sept. 25th. They went to New York state
       for a short wedding trip.
