JACKMAN and MISS ADDIE L. ELLIOTT were married in Ripton October 9 by the Rev. James Labelle of New York. At East Middlebury An honored resident of this town is referred to in the state press as follows: Besides hold- ing the record for having performed the largest number of marriages among Vermont clergymen, the Rev. Sedgwick W. Bidwell, of Middlbury, has just had the unique experience of officiating for the fifth time at a wedding in which either the bride or the groom had participated. DAVID STONE and MRS. VOLDA HARRINGTON appeared before the Rev. Mr. Bidwell to be married. Each of the contract- ing parties had twice been married and on each of the previous occasions, the Rev. Mr. Bidwell had officiated. They gave their age at 55 each. The clergyman is 92 years old. ================================================================================
