Alto, Tex., Jan. 17 - (Special) - News has been received of a terrible accident which took place this evening about 2 o'clock at MANUEL HAMILTON'S saw mill, seven miles east of town. The boiler exploded, resulting in the death of four men; TOBE RICHARDS, ALEX and WILL LEWIS and ABNER LEE. The injured are: ALEX HAMILTON, arm broken; RICHARD LOFTIN, leg broken; NOAH MILLER, PETER VAN BUREN and MANUEL HAMIL- TON, badly bruised, and several others, names not learned, badly scalded. All parties are colored. Physicians left for the scene this evening. Further particulars are un- obtainable. ===============================================================================
