         Death of Dr. GOODLETT
         
         Our readers will be pained to find among the
       deaths mentioned in this morning's report of the
       Board of Health that of Dr. A. G. GOODLETT, pastor
       of the Second Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He
       was seized with cholera at 3 P.M. on Thursday, 
       and died at 9 A.M. yesterday.
         
         Dr. GOODLETT was a man of rare piety, and his
       loss will be long deplored by his congregation,
       for whom he so earnestly labored. As a citizen
       and neighbor, he was universally loyal and re-
       spected. He was sixty years of age at the time
       of his death.
