Deputy Coroner M. S. Combs held an inquest and a verdict of suicide rendered. The woman had been arrested on Tuesday upon the charge of stealing a sum of money from a gentleman, and was arraigned before one of the magistrates on Deaderick street. A continuance of the case was had until Wednesday, and it is supposed that fear of punishment led her to com- mit suicide. ===============================================================================
