BUMPUS Passes Away at Her Son's Home in East Nashville Yesterday morning at 5 o'clock Mrs. JULIET M. BUMPUS died at the residence of her son, W. H. BUMPUS, 715 Woodland street. She was in the 75th year of her age, having been born in Buckingham County, Virginia, Oct. 1, 1825. She was the wid- ow of EVANS GEORGE BUMPUS, and was prominently connected in Virginia. She was the only child of WILLIAM MONCRIEF HILL and FRANCES LORRAINE PERROW. The greater part of her life was spent in her native State, to which she was truly devoted. Since coming to Nashville to make her home, however, she endeared herself to a wide circle of friends. Mrs. BUMPUS leaves two sons, WILLIAM H. BUMPUS and GEORGE D. BUMPUS, the latter of Tyler, Tex. The funeral services will be held at the residence, 715 Woodland street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, Dr. D. C. Kelley and Rev. A. P. McFerrin officiating. The following gentlemen will act as pall-bearers: Charles H. Sanders, C. W. Tolliver, G. W. Gifford, James H. Yar- brough, John H. DeWitt and Dr. Charles H.
