GEER, of this District, met with a sad fate on Friday last, by ac- cidental drowning. He started from his home, before daylight, for the millpond, a short distance thence, for the purpose of shooting duck. He was found a few hours afterwards, in the embrace of death. We forbear giving particulars, for fear of adding an additional pang to his bereaved family. He was about 25 years of age, and has left a wife and child to mourn his sudden demise. They have our sympathies in this sad affliction of Providence. ===============================================================================
