MR. EAKER was born in Venango Co., Nov. 7, 1859. He was a son of PHILIP K. and MARY (SAGAR) EAKER. In 1878 he was married to PARENTHA IMHOFF, of Arm- strong county. He is survived by his wife and the following children: MARK E., at home; JOHN P., of Pittsburgh; MRS. WAYNE SMATHERS, of Limestone; BARTON, JR.; at home, J. FRANK, of Limestone and CORA and IDA at home. He is also sur- vived by three grandchildren. He had always been in the best of health until 1908 when he suffered a severe paralytic stroke. His wonder- ful vitality enabled him to overcome the first attack to a considerable extent, but he was visited with additional attacks and the last, which he suffered on Sept. 15th, led to his death. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. F. X. Myron, assisted by Rev. Hugh Rowlands, were held at his late residence, Wednesday, Oct. 4th. ===============================================================================
