They have had one daughter, Estella. Clinton E. Bear, was a son of Joseph and Barbara (Barstow) Bear. Barbara was born in Germany, in 1824, and her husband, Joseph, was born in Lancaster county, Pa., in 1815, and was a son of Henry and Susan Bear, of Pa. Joseph settled in Ohio, Stark county, in 1839, and came to Henry county, in 1844. They were married in 1845, and had a family of eight children: Henry, Susanna, Mary, Vianna, Eliza, John, Clinton E., and Edward. Joseph was a carpenter, builder, and farmer, but is now retired. Clinton E., is engaged in the manufacture of lumber, and erected a steam saw-mill in connection with George Harmon, in 1884. He also owns and runs an improved steam thresher. ==========================================================================
