TALBOTT died at his home, 233 West Bucyrus street, at 5:45 this (Thursday) morning in his 56th year. Had he lived until May 28, MR. TALBOTT would have been fifty-six years old. His illness began with a stroke of paralysis on November 25 and from that time until death relieved him this morning he had been gradually growing weaker, although at one time after he had suffered the stroke, he was able to be about the house with the aid of members of the household. MR. TALBOTT was a lifelong resident of Crestline. He was born here on May 28, 1868, and was a son of JOSEPH J. and MARGARET A. TALBOTT, both deceased. He was married July 10, 1895 to GRACE McGUIRE and to them seven children were born all of whom survive him together with MRS. TALBOTT. The children are: MRS. C. J. MURRAY, of Seville, Ohio; ANNA RUTH, of Washington, D.C.; GLENN EDWARD, of Medina, Ohio; ALICE FAY, of Mansfield, and KENNETH LELAND and MALCOLM, residing at home. One brother, EDWARD, deputy postmaster here, also survives. Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Early in life, MR. TALBOTT learned the trade of a machi- nest and followed that line for a number of years when he took charge of the Crestline laundry which he operated for a number of years. It was while he was in this laundry busi- ness that he lost his arm and a short time after disposed of his interests. Since that time he has followed various occupations. At the time he was stricken he was acting as custodian of one of the school buildings. MR. TALBOTT was probably one of the best known men in Crestline. He had a wide circle of friends and acquain- tances by whom he was held in the highest regard and they will be grieved to learn that his life among them has ended. Funeral services are to be held next Monday afternoon at 2:30 from his late home with Rev. E. A. Brown, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial is to be made in the Crestline cemetery. ===============================================================================
