He was an estimable young man, about eighteen years of age. He lived for eight or ten hours in terrible pains, something akin to hydrophobia. His agony was so great that he devoured everything they brought within reach, even to a cup of boiling hot coffee at one gulp. In fact his actions were all of those denoting rabies. The acci= dent was a most lamentable one, and the family have the warm sympathy of all in their grief at his untimely death. The remains were buried in the graveyard at Middletown on the following Thursday. ===============================================================================
