         Died -
         
         JAMES H. DAY, of typhoid fever, on Monday, the
       10th day of January, 1870, in the 23d year of his
       age.
         His physicians and friends confidently hoped
       for his recovery, until within a few hours of his
       death. His infant child died the next morning
       after his death. Only one month having elapsed
       since the death of his wife. Thus, the family
       circle, which had been broken one month ago, we
       trust, are again united in the Christian's home
       above.
