         A little daughter of E. H. FITCH, ESQ., of
       Jefferson, about seven years old, died of
       diphtheria on Saturday. The father and mother
       were both sick of the disease at the same time,
       and MR. F. considered in a dangersous condition.
       Neither of the parents were able to attend the
       funeral.
