Contributed by Rev. Charles W. Baird, of Rye, N.Y. To the Publication Committee GENTLEMEN - I enclose an abstract of the Records of Marriage of the Society of Friends in Harrison, or "The Purchase," Westchester county, N.Y. It is complete from the beginning of the records of the Meeting down to the year 1785. This abstract was kindly made for me by Mellis S. Tilton, the recorder of the Society, and has been used to some extent in the preparation of my town history. As the entries refer, however, for the most part to marriages contracted by parties from other parts of the county or province, I presume they may have an interest for some of your genealogist readers. - C.
