         Last rites for SCOTT RUMSEY, 78, of the
       Town of Scipio, were conducted yesterday
       afternoon at the home of his nephew, GLENN
       A. SHORKLEY of Merrifield. Burial was in
       Scipio Center Cemetery.
         MR. RUMSEY died Sunday morning following
       a brief illness. He was a well known farmer
       of the township where he passed his entire
       life. He is survived by a sister, MRS. CLARA
       POST of Scipio; three nephews; OTTO POST of
       Scipio; GEORGE SHORKLEY of Merrifield and
       GLENN SHORKLEY, also of Merrifield.
