         Auburn, Jan. 10. - CHRISTOPHER COWLEY, 77 years
       old, died at his home in Fleming this morning fol-
       lowing a year's illness. He had lived for 45 years
       in the house in which he died.
         MR. COWLEY is survived by three daughters, two
       grandsons and two great-grandchildren. Funeral
       services will be held from the home at 9:30 o'clock
       on Tuesday morning with services in St. Bernard's
       Church, Scipio Center, at 10 o'clock. Burial will
       be made in Scipio Center Cemetery.
