COILEY, age 86, of Center Road, Scipio Center, died Monday July 19, in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was the husband of GERTRUDE MULLALY COILEY, who passed away June 26, 1976. MR. COILEY was born in the town of Ledyard and resided in Southern Cayuga County all of his life. He owned and operated a farm, retiring in 1962. Since that time he has been a caretaker for St. Bernard's Cemetery, Scipio Center. He was a com- municant of St. Bernard's Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a former member of the Scipio Fire Department. Surviving are one daughter, MRS. ROBERT (ALICE) HUNT of Poplar Ridge; one brother, WALTER GLEASON of Punta Gorda, Florida; three granddaughters, MRS. RONALD (DIANA) WALLENBECK of North Syracuse, MRS. JOSEPH (LORRAINE) KESSLER of Auburn, and MS. JoANN HUNT of Poplar Ridge; one great-grandson, TODD WALLENBECK of North Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, at the Shakelton Funeral Home, Aurora, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church, Scipio Center, where a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Egan. Interment was in St. Bernard's Cemetery. ===========================================================================
