AUSTIN, on North Main Street, MRS. DWIGHT KELLOGG AUSTIN died after a short illness. She was 81 years of age. MRS. AUSTIN was long prominent in community affairs at Kelloggsville and was born at the Belding family home near that village. For a long period of years MRS. AUSTIN was associated with her husband in con- ducting their general store, which was established by JUDGE CHARLES KELLOGG, later a member of Congress. The village postoffice was also in the store for a number of years. MRS. AUSTIN served many years as correspondent for city dailies. She was a member of St. Matthew's church of this village. She is survived by seven children; MRS. W. H. MOSS and HENRY AUSTIN of Kelloggsville; ROY AUSTIN of Syra- cuse; ARTHUR AUSTIN of Aurora; MRS. EDWIN THAYER of Genoa; MRS. W. V. SHARE of Marcellus; THOMAS J. AUSTIN of this village, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon from the home of MAYOR AUSTIN and interment was made at Kelloggsville.
