Saturday, 17 August 1929

         MRS. EMMA O. ALLEN, 83, widow of HENRY ALLEN,
       died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter,
       MRS. EDWIN PAYNE, in the town of Genoa, following
       a long illness. The daughter is the only survivor.
       Funeral services were conducted from the home at
       2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. C. H. Burch
       of North Lansing, officiated. Interment was made
       in Groton Rural Cemetery.
