              DIED.
              
              In this city, June 14th, infant child of Mr. and
            Mrs. E. LOCKETT.
            
              May 30th 1886, MARY L. GRUBB, in Old Town Township,
            Forsyth county. She was a member of Mr. Pilgrim
            Lutheran Church for 75 years and was in her hundredth
            year at her death.
            
              In Winston, on Tuesday, June 15th, of information (sic)
            of the bowels, MRS. ALICE ROSE, consort of MR. M. ROSE.
            Aged 50 years. Her remains were taken Tuesday evening
            to Richmond, Va., for interment.
