              Police Martin Arrests John Snow
              
              On last Saturday night, Police MARTIN broke
            up a row at the "Arlington Hotel" near the
            depot, and in arresting JOHN SNOW col, an es-
            caped convict of the C.F. & Y.V.R.R., MARTIN
            received several blows from SNOW, who said he
            would die before he would be taken. Notwith-
            standing this, MARTIN, after considerable
            difficulty arrested him. SNOW is said to be
            a very desperate character, and has made his
            escape from other officers, but this time he
            met with more than his match. SNOW is now
            peeping through the iron bars, awaiting 
            doubtless another sentence of hard labor on
            the railroad.
